FEATURES OF THE INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE VISGRAD GROUP AND ITS IMPACT ON THE DYNAMICS OF THE NATIONAL ECONOMY (ON THE EXAMPLE OF POLAND AND CZECH REPUBLIC)

Abstract
The formation of an effective national innovation system is an important task both for a developed country and for the one that are developing, since innovation is one of the sources and factors of economic growth. The article considers the national innovation systems of the Visegrad group countries based on the example of Poland and the Czech Republic, certain advantages and disadvantages of these countries’ policies for the development of innovation processes. Based on the correlation and regression analysis, a study was conducted of the influence of individual indicators characterizing the national innovation system on the development of the economy of the Czech Republic and Poland.
