Abstract
The human physicality is very important in contemporary culture. Visible beauty of the human body, his sexual value, physical strength and health are highly appreciated. Does culture today understand why human body has a value and what kind of value it is? The human body has a value because it participates in all human activities. It is a sign of human being in the world, manifests his personality, temperament, character and expresses love or hate. Moreover the sex of human being constitutes essential and visible sign of human being, because man was created as male and female. Sense of the human body is an integral unity of body and soul. The soul, which expresses itself through the body and the body which is formed by an immortal soul, how indicates John Paul II.
