Field model of electromechanical phenomena in the linear drive with permanent magnets

Abstract
The article presents problems of modelling and analysis of a linear permanent magnet electromagnetic drive taking into account basic physical phenomena. The Comsol Multiphysics environment based on the finite element method (FEM) is used in the magnetic field analysis, which allows for a relatively fast modelling of the object’s structure and performs extensive analysis of electromagnetic phenomena to determine the field integration parameters. Based on the analysis of the two-dimensional magnetic field, the static characteristics of the drive were determined, such as electromagnetic force, winding inductance, and magnetic flux.
