Financial Inclusion in Kancheepuram District – Exploring Usage in Access

Abstract

A well developed financial system brings the economically weaker section of the society into the main stream of economy and makes them to contribute to their economic development. In our country initiatives are taken to improve access to the formal financial system. The present study has been carried out with the financial assistance provided by the University Grants Commission to assess the usage of banking services by households in Kancheepuram district in southern part of Tamil Nadu.
