FINANCIAL SITUATION OF HORTICULTURAL FARMS IN EUROPEAN UNION – SYNTHETIC APPROACH

Abstract
The purpose of the article was to assess the financial situation of horticultural farms in the European Union. The assessment of this situation was made using the TOP SIS method. Selected financial indicators were used as simple features. The research was based on FADN data from 2013-2015. The conducted research confirmed the existence of diversification of the financial situation of horticultural farms in EU countries. The application of the TOP SIS method allowed to divide the farms into groups with a similar financial situation and to characterize them using selected indicators.<br/><br/>
