Fingerprint Recognition System Using MATLAB
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2015, Vol 3, Issue 6
Abstract
Fingerprint is a very vital concept in making us completely unique and can not be altered. It is necessary to recognize fingerprint in proper manner. Here we are trying to recognize the fingerprint image samples by using minute extraction and minute matching techniques. In minute extraction it counts the crossing numbers and from the count it will be classified as normal ridge pixel, termination point and bifurcation point. Then the input finger print data is compared with the template data. This is called as minute matching.

Effect of Crosstalk in Optical Component
Optical networks have emerged as a solution to the rapidly increasing demands. Now, the optical data is transmitted over long distances without the need for O-E-O conversion as the data is directly transferred in the fi...
Exhaust Gas Recirculation in CI Engines
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) is being widely used to reduce and control the oxides of nitrogen (NOx) emission from diesel engines. When combustion chamber temperature reaches 2500ºF or 1370ºC, nitrogen and oxygen com...
A Bidirectional Converter Using Fuzzy Controller
This paper presents the fuzzy controller design of a bidirectional converter based on intelligent fuzzy model. The topology circuit of this bidirectional is a combination of a buck converter and a boost converter. The i...
Implementation of Fractional Order PID Controller for An AVR System Using GA Optimization Technique
In recent years, the research and studies on fractional order (FO) modelling of dynamic systems and controllers are quite advancing. To improve the stability and dynamic response of automatic voltage regulation (AVR) sy...
A Review Paper on Signature Recognition
There are two types of signature verification system are present offline (static) and online (dynamic). When a person has done a signature on a paper or on a document then it is called offline or static signature. The o...
