Finite element method in spatial filtration consolidation problem with thin semi-permeable inclusions under the influence of the heat and salt transfer

Abstract

Mathematical model of filtration consolidation of soils, taking into account available there thin semi-permeable inclusions in three-dimensional case, has been constructed. The finite element method was used for numerical solution of three-dimensional problem. A number of numerical experiments has been done and the influence of the heat and salt transfer and semi-permeable inclusions on the distribution of the pressures in soil massifs has been shown.
