First description of the male Solter iranensis Hölzel (Neuroptera: Myrmeleontidae) from Iran

Abstract

During a study of antlions housed in Hayk Mirzayans Insect Museum, the specimens of genus Solter examined and identified as S. iranensis. The species described based on a female specimen that collected from Derbend, Tehran province of Iran,. Female specimens Identified according shape of sternite VII. Male specimen described here for the first time from Iran.
