FISCAL PROSPECTS OF EXCISE TAXATION OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The structure of excise tax revenue in the context of excisable goods to the State Budget of Ukraine is analyzed in the article. The estimation of fiscal realities of excise taxation of tobacco and tobacco products in Ukraine is given. The approaches to regulating the taxation of excisable goods and the rules for charging excise taxes in the EU Member States are considered. The prospects of adaptation of the excise taxation of tobacco and tobacco products in Ukraine to the norms of the EU tax legislation are determined.
