Design and Fabrication of Quadrilateral Bubble Column Test Rig for Multiphase Flow Investigations
Bubble column reactor belongs to the general class of multiphase reactors in which gas come in contact with liquid. This reactor purposely used to mix the two phases or substances where the gas is dispersed into the colu...
Verification of the Primary Stability of Bone-Implant Non Manifold Assembly (Prosthetic Joint) using Hertzian Contact Mechanics Model
The problem with hip replacement technology is a challenging one and no addition to that effort is a wasted venture. The aim of this work considering stainless steel SS316L as the implant material was to investigate the...
Computation of Aerodynamic load on Protuberance over Satellite Launch Vehicle at Supersonic Speed
This paper presents numerical simulations to compute the aerodynamic load on protuberance for a typical launch vehicle. Surface pressure coefficients over the satellite launch vehicle are computed by solving axisymmetric...
Assessment of water quality of river Yamuna in Yamunanagar, India with reference to planktons and macrozoobenthos
This paper presents an assessment of water quality of the river Yamuna, when it meanders along the city Yamunanagar, India and is subjected to sewage and industrial pollution. The analysis of various pollution parameters...
Effect of High Molecular weight Cellulose Ethers on the Resistance in Shearing of Fresh Mortars
This paper presents an experimental study on the effect of three types of water-soluble high molecular weight polymers on the resistance in shear of cement mortars in fresh state. The role of molecular weight of cellulos...
