Food as a Method of Heavy Metal Detoxification

Journal Title: Advances in Clinical Toxicology - Year 2017, Vol 2, Issue 1

Abstract

Heavy metal toxicity and pollution is one of the major health problems in the environment. This is because they can persist for long period in environment due to their non degradable nature [1]. Technology release large amount of waste, contaminants and heavy metals into the environment, these lead to building up of heavy metals storage in soil and water, which increase more than the allowed level and increase the health hazards.
