FOREIGN CAPITAL IN THE BANKING SECTOR OF UKRAINE

Abstract
сThe article deals with the features of functioning of banks with foreign capital in Ukraine. It is established that the presence of the above-mentioned banks has both positive and negative consequences for the country's financial and credit environment. It is determined that the dynamism of its development and changes, especially in the beginning of the XXI century, due to the acceleration of economic processes around the world by 2008 and the uncontrolled rapid decline in economic growth due to the effects of the global financial and economic crisis. Of the top 15 banks, only 4 belong to Ukraine, the remaining 9 are in the status of the most reliable foreign banks that operate in Ukraine.
