FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT: THE IMPACT OF FREE TRADE AGREEMENT BETWEEN UKRAINE AND THE EU, PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS FOR DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
The article shows that the increase of trade turnover due to the establishment of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and the EU led to a decrease in the volume of foreign direct investments to Ukraine. The growth potential of foreign direct investments and conditions of its realization are explored. The internal factors of influence on the volume of foreign direct investments are revealed. The dependence model of foreign direct investments volumes and internal factors is constructed. The reasons for blocking foreign direct investments are established. The improvement directions of the investment environment have been formed.
