FOREIGN POLICIES AND DIPLOMACY OF AFRICAN STATES IN AN ERA OF GLOBALIZATION: CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS

Abstract
This study examines the foreign policies and diplomacy of African states against the backdrop of globalization, assessing the multifaceted challenges they face and exploring the prospects for meaningful engagement on the global stage. In an era characterized by unprecedented interconnectedness, the unique historical, cultural, and economic contexts of African nations shape their approaches to foreign policy formulation and diplomatic endeavors. The research scrutinizes the challenges confronting African states, ranging from economic disparities and political instability to historical conflicts and external influences. It also examines the strategies employed by these nations in navigating a globalized world, emphasizing the role of diplomacy as a crucial tool for addressing shared challenges and advancing national interests.
