FORMATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF CAREER ORIENTATIONS OF TEACHERS OF HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract
In the article reveals the need to develop of university graduates career orientations for planning their teaching career, considering their own values and opportunities. Attention is focused on the right choice of professional activity, since it is from this process that the opportunity to successfully realize own career and open the potential depends. The strategy and key aspects of the career development of the academic staff are described. Denote, that «career anchors» associated of with specific the professional activity of academic staff of higher educational institutions. Recommendations are offered to improve the career planning process in accordance with own orientations.
