FORMATION OF ECOLOGICAL CONSCIOUSNESS OF PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN AGE BY MEANS OF PHENOLOGICAL OBSERVATION

Abstract

In this article the theoretical analysis of the concept of ecological consciousness of the person is presented, the essence of the category “ecological consciousness of children of preschool age” is substantiated, phenomenon of phenological observations is determined. The urgency of the theme is due to the fact that in the preschool child lay the foundations of the formation of human consciousness, the first component of which is the environmental representation. The assimilation of the value attitude towards nature, as the basis for the formation of the ecological consciousness of the individual, is primarily facilitated by the purposeful, systematic, personality-oriented education that today must be carried out through a combination of the pedagogical potential of the means of ecology and art. It is determined that the ecological consciousness of children of the senior preschool age is an integrative psychic neoplasm of the individual, which develops under the influence of socio-cultural and psychological factors and manifests itself in ecological knowledge, ecological activity and the relation of man to nature. Based on the structure (cognitive, motivational, behavioral components) of environmental consciousness, the main criteria for assessing the level of formation of ecological consciousness in preschool children are highlighted. It has been established that an important role in the work on the formation of ecological consciousness in children of preschool age is given by specially organized phenological observations, since a senior preschool child, although witnessing changes in nature, is not always able to see them on their own. Phenological observation is the observation of seasonal changes in nature. The organization of phenological observations in the institution of pre-school education allows us to form an idea of the features and properties of objects and phenomena of inanimate nature, characteristic features of the appearance of plants of the nearest natural environment, animals and birds, their needs and adaptation to seasonal changes in the nature of their native land.
