FORMATION OF ELECTRONIC COLLECTIONS AND DOCUMENT FACILITIES AS A NEW DIRECTION OF INFORMATION SERVICE FOR USERS OF PUBLIC LIBRARIES

Abstract
Features of formation, storage, use, development of electronic funds and collections of documents as a new direction of information service for users of public libraries are analyzed. The role and place of electronic funds and collections of documents in the information space of the library are determined. Prospects for the further formation, storage, development of electronic funds and collections in public libraries to meet the information needs of real and remote users are considered.
