FORMATION OF POPULATION INCOME AND ITS IMPACT ON THE LIVING STANDARDS

Abstract
The article analyzes the level and structure of the population’s income, the dynamics of the minimum, nominal and real wages for the period of 2010–2018. The attention is also paid to changes in the structure of population expenditure. There is a significant pressure on the budget of social assistance and other transfer payments, which are one of the main items of the budget expenditures of the state. Transfer payments are part of the state’s revenues, which are sent to the private sector to smooth the level of uneven distribution of income between different segments of the population. Despite the importance of these expenditures in the budget of the country, current realities of economic life indicate a further deepening of property stratification of the population and the growth of social inequality and, accordingly, social tension in society.
