FORMATION OF RISK-ORIENTED THINKING IN THE FUTURE SPECIALISTS OF THE ENERGY INDUSTRY

Abstract
The article is devoted to the peculiarities of studying safety of life in the process of training specialists of energy specialties in higher educational establishment of the III-IV levels of accreditation. particularly, the concept of «risk» and its classifi cation take into consideration the specifi city of professional training of power engineers are considered. The reform of the energy systems of Ukraine in accordance with the adopted «Energy Strategy of Ukraine for the period up to 2030» envisages the transition to market relations, the liberalization of the market, the creation of a wholesale electricity market, and the improvement of pricing policy by creating conditions for competition that will allow buyers and sellers to enter into transactions at market prices on the basis of free demand and offers, and to ensure reliable supply and payment for purchased electricity and capacity. This entails the emergence of appropriate risks for all participants in the energy market. Accordingly, the task of higher education is to train specialists who will possess methods of analysis and forecasting of risks, as well as to understand the peculiarities of their avoidance in the process of professional activity.
