FORMATION OF STRATEGIES FOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIVENESS OF ENGINEERING COMPANIES

Abstract

The article presents the theoretical aspects of the concept of international competitiveness, which is defined as the ability of an enterprise to create and sell products, whose quality is more attractive than comparable products of competitors both on the domestic and foreign markets, and which reflects the possibility of effective production and economic activity in a global competitive market. The interdependence of the competitiveness factors of engineering companies has been revealed and described. The concept of "strategy" is analyzed on the basis of traditional approaches and types of strategies of international competitiveness. The choice of the main types of strategies of international competitiveness for the engineering companies of Ukraine is substantiated. On the basis of the most important factors that determine the success of engineering companies, the stages of the formation and implementation of international competitiveness strategies of Ukrainian enterprises are proposed, each of which is a separate functional element.
