FORMATION OF THE MANAGEMENT STRATEGY PROGRAM OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE REGION

Abstract
Purpose. The aim of the article is to form the program of the strategy of economic development of the region in the context of creating a cluster to support agricultural business and ensure its stability. Methodology of research. The methodology of the research was based on a systematic approach, which made it possible to consider the formation of a strategy for the development of the region from the system-functional point of view and to generalize the conceptual and categorical apparatus. General scientific techniques and specific methods of scientific knowledge are used in the process of research. In particular, the monographic method and the method of generalizations are used - for comparing the concepts of “strategic management” and “economic development of the region”; the method of analysis and synthesis – to distinguish the most important essential factors of the definition “strategy for managing the economic development of the region”. Findings. The essence of strategic management is substantiated; the strategic approach to economic development of the region is outlined. The terminology of the conceptual apparatus is generalized based on the existing conceptual positions of the development model. The possibility of applying a design-territorial approach to regional economy management in the context of a separate region of Ukraine is substantiated. The main components of the strategic management system of economic development of the region are highlighted. Originality. The content of the concept “strategic management of economic development of the region” as a set of programs, principles, methods and techniques by which the management plans to develop a certain social and economic system in the medium to long term is specified. The model of the regional development cluster is developed. The expediency of development of the Center (stock exchange) of innovations in the Ternopil region is substantiated. Practical value. The results and conclusions of the study can be used in the development of a regional economic development program by individual institutions or state authorities for the future.
