Formation of the Russian-imperial model of patent law in the first half of the 19th century

Abstract
The article analyzes one of the stages of the formation of the Institute of Patent Law in the Russian Empire. The author outlines the main steps and the process of drafting legislation that regulates the inventive legal relationship in the Ukrainian lands that were part of the Russian Empire. The mechanisms of regulation of inventive legal relations are covered. The process of evolution of criteria of patentability of inventions is shown.
