Framework for a Genetic-Neuro-Fuzzy Inferential System for Diagnosis of Diabetes Mellitus
Journal Title: Annals. Computer Science Series - Year 2018, Vol 16, Issue 1
Abstract
One of the most dangerous diseases in the modern society is diabetes mellitus and it is not only a medical problem but also a socio-economy. Artificial Intelligence techniques have been successfully employed in diabetes disease diagnosis, risk evaluation, patient monitoring, and medicine. Using single techniques in diagnosis of diabetes has been comprehensively investigated showing some level of accuracy. Researchers have investigated the effect of hybridizing more than one technique to show enhance results in the diagnosis of diabetes. However, using the combination of two or more technique to identify a suitable treatment for diagnosis of diabetes patients has received less attention. Therefore, in this work, a framework for three intelligent approaches will be used to develop an expert system using Genetic, Neural network and Fuzzy logic techniques. The framework will further be used to diagnosis and management of Diabetes Mellitus and compare the model with existing work to determine it performance.

Rotation Invariant Skin Detection Approach based on Combination of Probabilistic Distribution Estimation and Single Scale Retinex
Skin detection is one of the main steps in many image processing systems such as face detection, human identicaton, etc. Since now, many methods are proposed to done it accurately. Most of previous methods have tried to...
Non Linear Fusion of Colors to Face Authentication using LDA
In this article, we propose the use of information color to authenticate face; several spaces of colors were used for the transformation of colorimetric components RGB of the original images. The results obtained in diff...
Password Authentication Scheme with Secured Login Interface
This paper presents a novel solution to the age long problem of password security at input level. In our solution, each of the various characters from which a password could be composed is encoded with a random single di...
Constructing and Exploring Triangles with GeoGebra
We look at a new approach to mathematical constructions. Using GeoGebra, we first do dynamic analysis and exploration. Again with GeoGebra, we then do a strict compass and straightedge constructions. Finally and yet agai...
Modelling Extinction of Polio Transmission Agents by Stochastic Differential Equations
Eradicating poliomyelitis has been a major health concern to stakeholders the world over. In this study, we have developed a pair of stochastic equations for the extinction probability functions in two types of human tra...
