From Emotion Recognition to Website Customizations
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Computer Science & Applications - Year 2016, Vol 7, Issue 7
Abstract
A computer vision system that recognizes the emotions of a website’s user and customizes the context and the presentation of this website accordingly is presented herein. A logistic regression classifiers is trained over the Extended Cohn- Kanade dataset in order to recognize the emotions. The Scale- Invariant Feature Transform algorithm over two different part of an image, the face and the eyes without any special pixel intensities preprocessing, is used to describe each emotion. The testing phase shows a significant improvement in the classification results. A toy web site, as a proof of concept, is also developed.

Classification of Human Emotions from Electroencephalogram (EEG) Signal using Deep Neural Network
Estimation of human emotions from Electroencephalogram (EEG) signals plays a vital role in developing robust Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) systems. In our research, we used Deep Neural Network (DNN) to address EEG-based...
Level of Confidence in Software Effort Estimation by an Intelligent Fuzzy – Neuro - Genetic Approach
Organizations are struggling to deliver the expected software functionality and quality in scheduled time and prescribed budget. Despite availability of numerous advanced effort estimation techniques overestimation and u...
Backstepping Control of Induction Motor Fed by Five-Level NPC Inverter
In this paper we will present a contribution to the backstepping control for induction motor (IM) based on the principle of Field Orientated Control (FOC). This law is established step by step while ensuring the stabilit...
An Efficient Distributed Traffic Events Generator for Smart Highways
This paper deals with a spatiotemporal traffic events generator for real highway networks. The goal is to use the event generator to test real-time and batch traffic analysis applications. In this context, we represent a...
