Journal Title: Journal of Enam Meical College - Year 2013, Vol 3, Issue 1
Abstract
This is the 2nd anniversary publication of Journal of Enam Medical College. On this occasion, I would like to extend my heartiest congratulations and gratitude to all the teachers of Enam Medical College, contributors, reviewers, members of editorial board, office staff and Chairman and Principal of Enam Medical College. We are highly thankful to the Almighty for the success we have achieved during the last 2 (two) years. Now the journal of Enam Medical College is one of the established journals of the country. The journal is available online from the very 1st issue. The research activities of our scientists are disseminated to the world scientific community. Online publication of the journal has spread the name and fame of Enam Medical College throughout the world. We promise to continue utmost effort to take the journal as well as Enam Medical College to further heights. Formal recognition of the journal by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC) is in progress. We have already submitted the previous issues of the journal to BMDC. This recognition will be effective from the 1st issue of the journal. Editor-1 of Journal of Enam Medical College Prof. Md. Aminul Haque Khan attended a 3-day ‘INASP Training Workshop on BanglaJOL’ jointly organised by The International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications (INASP), UK and Bangladesh Academy of Sciences for online journal editors on 17-19 November, 2012 at the Conference Room of the Faculty of Science, Rajshahi University, Rajshahi. His participation in that workshop will help to improve the overall quality of the journal. Constructive criticisms to improve the quality of the journal are always welcomed. Hope to give new information and further development in future.
