FROM THE HISTORY OF TAX LEGISLATION IN STATE VILLAGES OF NORTHERN AZERBAIJAN IN THE LATE XIX – EARLY XX CENTURIES

Abstract
The presented article considers the issues of the tax system of Northern Azerbaijan in the first third of the XIX century after the seizure of these lands by Russian occupation forces. It is pointed out that the tax system of the Khan times continued to exist here, but the collected taxes already flowed into the royal treasury, and in large amounts. To solve some problems in this area, a number of provisions have been adopted, some of which are covered in this article. In particular, the "Baku" "The Provision on the Establishment, on their Public Administration and on State and Public Obligations of Rural Societies" is analyzed in more detail. Here we also consider the provisions adopted in the future that generally changed the taxation system of the agriculture in Northern Azerbaijan.
