FUEL AND ENERGY COMPLEX: PRIORITY TO ENSURING ECONOMIC SECURITY

Abstract
The article proves the importance of scientific research on the problem of ensuring the economic security of the fuel and energy complex. By considering the concepts of «security» and «economic security», the essence of the term «economic security of the fuel and energy complex» has been characterized. The historical aspects of the formation and modern transformation processes in the fuel and energy complex of Ukraine are considered. The fuel and energy complex is considered as a complex socio-economic system, which is characterized by excellent parameters for ensuring economic security. Key threats have been identified, counteraction to which should ensure safe conditions for the development of the fuel and energy complex.
