FUNCTIONAL DIVERSITY OF LANDSCAPES IN THE TERRITORY OF THE LEFT-BANK UKRAINE: AN ASSESSMENT ASPECT

Abstract
The aim of the research is to evaluate the functional variety of landscapes the Left Bank the Dnipro river of Ukraine territory, which is determined by the elements of transport-settled landscape-planning skeleton functioning, as the key basis for the landscape planning implementation by using GIS-parcel MapInfo Professional 10.0.1. Specificity of the functional variety of landscapes of the research area is taken into account according to the hierarchic, structural morphometric and landscape presentivness principles, and due to the concept of landscape diversity, the transport-settled landscape-planning skeleton, and from the functional-temporal landscape features evaluation point of view. Thus, for the first time detachment, mapping, graphic modelling, and evaluation of functional variety the landscape complexes according to its division into the types, geniuses, and sorts for the territory of the Left Bank the Dnipro river of Ukraine territory was done; also their mono- and polyfunctional variety was determined for the purpose the system of landscape-planning activities future elaboration and implementation.
