Functional Problems and Maintenance Operations of Hydraulic Turbines
Journal Title: TEM JOURNAL - Year 2016, Vol 5, Issue 1
Abstract
The exploitation in good conditions of the hydroelectric power plant imposes a rigorous maintenance of equipment and operating facilities, primarily of the turbine. The efficiency of the turbine is strongly affected by any defects which could occur during the operation. The paper makes a synthesis of the most frequent failures which have occurred during the functioning of Kaplan turbines plant and the required maintenance plan that has to be adopted. The maintenance rules for the optimal working of these turbines are also emphasized.

Getting of Industrial Water for Steam Boilers with Treatment of Drinking Water from the Spring "StudenĨica"
The drinking water from the source StudenĨica contains a high percentage of dissolved mineral salts and can not be used for the operation of steam boilers. It is therefore necessary this water to bephysically and ch...
Investigate the Friction Drilling of Aluminium Alloys According to the Thermal Conductivity
Friction drilling is non-traditional hole drilling method which uses the frictional heat due to the friction between a rotating conical tool and the workpiece to soften and penetrate the work-material and obtained a hole...
