Fundamental principles of international environmental law

Abstract
The article reveals the content of the basic principles of international environmental law and defines their role in the legal regu- lation of social relations. We are talking about such principles as: the principle of state sovereignty in relation to natural objects, the principle of good neighborliness (duty to cooperate), the principle of preventing harm and the principle of sustainable development. These principles determine the direction of legal regulation of the entire system of international environmental law.
