Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN PHYSICS - Year 0, Vol 11, Issue 2
Abstract
In this study the calculations of the total fusion reaction cross section have been performed for fusion reaction systems 17F + 208Pb and 15C + 232Th which involving halo nuclei by using a semiclassical approach. The semiclassical treatment is comprising the WKB approximation to describe the relative motion between target and projectile nuclei, and Continuum Discretized Coupled Channel (CDCC) method to describe the intrinsic motion for both target and projectile nuclei. For the same of comparsion a full quantum mechanical clacualtions have been preforemd using the (CCFULL) code. Our theorticalrestuls are compared with the full quantum mechaincialcalcuations and with the recent experimental data for the total fusion reaction checking the stability of the distancesThe coupled channel calculations of the total fusion cross section σfus, and the fusion barrier distribution Dfus. The comparsion with experiment proves that the semiclassiacl approach adopted in the present work reproduce the experimental data better that the full quantal mechanical calcautions.

Comparison Between Thermo Luminescence Dosimeter and Planning System Dose Calculation in The Brain and Spinal Cord Tumour
Radiotherapy of Spinal cord and brain tumor requires High care due to considerable changes in the white matter of the brain, which consequently lead to a reduction of patient learning and mental skills. It is considered...
Correlation between microstructure, mechanical and thermal properties of In-Bi-Sn-Ag melt spun alloys
A series of indium-bismuth-tin-silver alloys containing up to 5 wt. % silver were quenched from melt by chill-block melt-spin technique. The resultant ribbons were studied by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microsco...
Structure of Superdeformed Rotational Bands in A ~ 150 Mass Region
The structure of superdeformed rotational bands (SDRB's) in A ~ 150 mass region are studied by using the Harris three parameter expansion and the incremental alignment. The bandhead spins Io have been determined with bes...
About the Transition to Turbulence Through Chaotic Distortion of Vortex Shedding
The results of direct numerical integration of the Navier-Stokes equations are evaluated against experimental data for the problem of flow around a hard sphere at rest. The evaluation is performed for both the sequence o...
Anti-aging Effect of Free Curcumin and Niosome Entrapping Curcumin in H2O2-induced Aging in Human Fibroblast Cell Lines
Aging is not a disease but it a changes that come with time, aging may make an individual susceptible to disease. Exposure to smoke, UV radiation, chemicals or other exogenous agents over time can damage cells, as can pr...
