Abstract
In this study the calculations of the total fusion reaction cross section have been performed for fusion reaction systems 17F + 208Pb and 15C + 232Th which involving halo nuclei by using a semiclassical approach. The semiclassical treatment is comprising the WKB approximation to describe the relative motion between target and projectile nuclei, and Continuum Discretized Coupled Channel (CDCC) method to describe the intrinsic motion for both target and projectile nuclei. For the same of comparsion a full quantum mechanical clacualtions have been preforemd using the (CCFULL) code. Our theorticalrestuls are compared with the full quantum mechaincialcalcuations and with the recent experimental data for the total fusion reaction checking the stability of the distancesThe coupled channel calculations of the total fusion cross section σfus, and the fusion barrier distribution Dfus. The comparsion with experiment proves that the semiclassiacl approach adopted in the present work reproduce the experimental data better that the full quantal mechanical calcautions.

The interference of two-dimensional superconducting induced current in vector potential A field
If a two-dimensional superconducting mental surface is passed through by two infinite straight magnetic flux which is shielded by superconductivity, and it was supposed that the change rate of flux was not equal to zero...
Effect of magnetic field during the liquid – solid phase transition of some thermoplastic polymers
Application of external fields on a polymer is common physical treatment for modifying the polymer properties. The field is applied on the final polymeric object or during synthesising or polymerization. In this work, th...
Nonplannar Nonlinear Dust ion Acoustics Solitary and Shock Waves in a Dusty Multi-ion Plasma
We have presented a stern theoretical exploration of the nonplannar and nonlinear propagation of dust-ion acoustic (DIA) waves in a dusty multi-ion plasma. We studied the progation of nonplannar non-linear DIA waves by t...
EFFECT OF ENERGETIC ION BOMBARDMENT DURING THE GROWTH OF HYDROGENATED AMORPHOUS CARBON THIN FILMS
Hydrogenated amorphous carbon (a-C:H) thin film growth using plasma-assisted deposition is studied using Monte Carlo based simulation. The effect of energetic bombardment of the ionized depositing species as well as ioni...
Vibrational World
Thinking that time and mass are correlated, like mass and energy are ( E = m*c^2 ). The period of oscillation of the simple oscillator, with a mass M and spring with coefficient k, is given by: T = 2*Pi*Sqrt(M/k); (1) or...
