GAUSSIAN INTEGER SOLUTIONS FOR THE ELLIPTIC PARABOLOID 풙 ퟐ + ퟐ 풚 ퟐ = ퟒ풛
Journal Title: International Journal of Engineering Sciences & Research Technology - Year 30, Vol 4, Issue 7
Abstract
The elliptic paraboloid represented by the ternary quadratic diophantine equation 푥 2 + 2 푦 2 = 4 푧 is considered and analyzed for its Gaussian integer solutions. Also, knowing a solution, general formulas for generating sequence of Gaussian integer solutions for the above equation are presented.
