Generation of Income in Buying and Selling Practices by Students through Online: A Study on the Students of Universities of Sylhet

Abstract

This paper is an outcome of the study aimed to explore the generation of income in buying and selling practices by students of universities of Sylhet. The study was based on primary sources of data although secondary sources were used. The article describes different ipractices, buying and selling practices, which types of products are suitable for online dealing, problems in dealings in online, and ways to minimize the problems. In different programs’ students there are no impacts on awareness in online dealing. According to family income level, the middle income level of families students are more engaged in online dealing than low and high income level of families’ students. In online buying and selling there are lots of problem such as quality problem, physical check, comparison, transaction, hazard due to ownership of product. These problems can be solved by imposing warranty service, arranging the brick building for physical check, data must be available for getting relevant information of market price & quality, transactions must be ensured, and ownership must be registered.
