Genotypes pattern of Hepatitis C virus infection in Kermanshah city

Abstract

One of the most common causes of chronic liver disease is Hepatitis C all over the world. Furthermore, WHO estimated that the prevalence of HCV is almost 2-3%, 1,2 nonetheless, many studies reported the considerable differences on geographical point of view. Blood Transfusion Organization, reported HCV prevalence is 0.5% to 5% in Iran; Sistan-andBaluchistan province as the most prevalent region.3
