Geodesic and Exponential Maps on a Riemannian Manifold
Journal Title: INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICS TRENDS AND TECHNOLOGY - Year 2014, Vol 10, Issue 1
Abstract
Geodesic curve plays an important role in the development of Geometry. Our aim is to ensure local diffeomorphism on a Riemannian manifold which are obtained with the help of exponential mapping.

Strongly θgs-Closed Functions and Strongly θgs-Homeomorphism
The aim of this paper is to introduce and study of a new type of function called strongly θgs-closed function and new class of homeomorphism called strongly θgs-homeomorphism in topological spaces. Also, we obtain its ch...
Characterizations of k-normal matrices
In this paper to extend and generalize lists of characterizations of k-normal and k-hermitian matrices known in the literature, by providing numerous sets of equivalent conditions referring to the notions of co...
Single Objective Evolutionary Algorithm for Job Shop Scheduling Problem
— Job shop scheduling belongs to the class of NPhard problems. There are a number of algorithms in literature for finding near optimal solution for the job shop scheduling problem. Many of these algorithms e...
A New Approach to Robust Partial Least Squares Regression Analysis
Partial Least Squares Regression (PLSR) is a linear regression technique developed to relate many independent variables to one or several dependent variables. Robust methods are introduced to reduce or remove the effects...
Numerical Analysis of the Fuzzy Integro-Differential Equations using Single-Term Haar Wavelet Series
This paper presents numerical analysis of the fuzzy integro-differential equations (FIDE) using Single Term Haar Wavelet Series (STHWS) method [6-9] is considered. The obtained discrete solutions using STHWS are compared...
