Geoelectric anomalies of the Ukrainian shield and their relation to mineral deposits
Journal Title: Геофизический журнал - Year 2015, Vol 37, Issue 6
Abstract
Results of modern experimental electromagnetic studies completed during 2005-2014 along 13 profiles located mainly within suture zones of the USh have been given. The main result of geo-electric studies of the USh is the revealing of numerous local and regional anomalies of electric conductivity according to the data of 3D modeling, the presence of low-resistance deep anomalies, confined to zones of metasomatism along extensive fault zones; conjugation of low-resistance anomalies with metallogenic ore knots and geochemical anomalies.

Conditions of ferruginous-cherty formations origin (Middle-Dnieper mega-block)
The basic idea of existing hypotheses of ferruginous-cherty formations origin is an opinion that the form of iron presence depends on conditions at the depth of sediments accumulation. It has been shown in this paper wit...
Petromagnetism and palaeomagnetism of Quaternary loess-soil sediments of Vyazivok section (Dnieper Lowland)
The results of petromagnetic and palaeomagnetic research of Vyazivok loess-paleosoil sequence (Dnieper Lowland) are presented. Variations of natural remanent magnetization and magnetic susceptibility are not correlated w...
On the so-called “leukogranulite formation” and “greenlevada suite” of Early Precambrian of the Ukrainian Shield
It has been shown using as an example the geological structure of the Precambrian basement of the Middle Bug area (the Ukrainian Shield) that the chronostratigraphic scheme of the Lower Archean needs to be modified, in p...
Three-dimensional geoelectric model of the Golovanevsk suture zones of the Ukrainian Shield
Thorough three-dimensional deep model has been plotted for the first time for the Golovanivsk suture zone of the Ukrainian shield and adjacent area applying Mtd3fwd R. L. Mackie's program based on geophysical experiment...
Gongola Basin Geoid Determination using Isostatic Models and Seismic Reflection Data and Geophysical Interpretation
The application of Stokes’ formula to create geoid undulation requires no masses outside the geoid. Usually, a constant density of 2.67g / cm3 is used in the determination of the geoid which introduces error in the reduc...
