Gestão da Informação: estudo comparativo entre quatro modelos

Abstract
This article makes a comparative study between four Information Management (IM) models, namely the models of Davenport (1998), Choo (1998), Marchand (2000) and Rascão (2006), aiming to identify similarities among them and verify which mechanisms are proposed to make an effective management of information resources within organizations. All models are shown to assume that information exist and is available; to point that the identification of the information needs is a basic condition for the IM, and to assume a favorable environment for the information sharing.
