Primary data was collected using self-designed questionnaire, administered during lecture periods and analysed using One-Way Analysis of Variance and Pearson Chi-square for correlation analysis. Results indicate that respondents preferred imported mobile phones from developed economies. There is no significant relation between socio-demographic variables and preferred place of manufactured mobile phones using the Chi-square analysis.
