One of the primary goals of a long term successful restorative therapy is to establish a physiologic periodontal climate that facilitates the maintenance of periodontal health .Tissue management includes placing the gingival tissues away from the preparation margins so that impression can be made, combined with providing for hemostasis when the gingival tissues are susceptible to bleeding.
