GLASSFORMATION IN THE SYSTEM As2S3–Pr6O11
Journal Title: Azerbaijan Chemical Journal - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 1
Abstract
Boundaries of glassformation in the system As2S3–Pr6O11 were studied using methods of physico-chemical analysis (X-ray analysis, Raman spectra, Scanning electron microscope). It was established that in glassformation region the range of concentration covers from As2S3–Pr6O11 it is 13 mol%. Samples in the region of glassformation are stable at 300 K to air, water and organic solvents. Samples decompose in mineral acids and alkalies. In the region of glassformation at a temperature of 300 K were studied samples of density and microhardness

ASSESSMENT OF PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF THE WASTE MOTOR OIL
The results of the comparative analysis of the physico-chemical properties of the fresh and used motor oil are offered. It was found that the level of pollution, waste engine oil mechanical impurities exceeds the allowab...
INVESTIGATION OF CATALYTIC PROPERTIES OF NANO-PARTICULATED TITANIUM DIOXIDE IN OXIDATION OF ISOPROPYLBENZENE
Catalytic properties of nano-grade titanium dioxide of mean size 5–10 nm have been studied in a model isopropylbenzene (cumene) oxidation. The kinetic data obtained indicate the significant catalytic activity of nano-TiO...
OBTAINING OF NANODIMENSIONAL POWDERS BY METHOD OF HYDROTHERMAL DECOMPOSITION OF Cu, Co, AND Al NITRATES IN POLYOLIC ENVIRONMENT
The hydrothermal reductive decomposition of Cu2+, Co2+ and Al3+ nitrates in the temperature range of 220–350oС in the presence of polyols (ethylene glycol and glycerol) was investigated. It has been established, that dep...
