GRADATION SENTENCES AS SEMANTIC-SYNTACTICAL VARIETY OF COMPLEX CONSTRUCTIONS

Abstract
Article presents systematization of study about gradation as a language notion, refines information about the formal-grammatical, communicative and semantic-syntactic formation of gradational complex sentences. Attention is focused on the conjunction functions as the main representatives of gradational semantico-syntactic relations. In the article it has been distinguished additional semantic hues that can accompany gradation itself. They are: contrast, comparison, compensation, assignment, clarification, cause.
