Groebner Basis and its Applications

Journal Title: PARIPEX-Indian Journal of Research - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 11

Abstract

Groebner Bases is a technique that provides algorithmic solutions to a variety of problems in Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry. Bruno Buchberger algorthim for computing Groebner bases is a powerful tool for solving many important problem in Commutative Algebra and Algebraic Geometry. The theory of Groebner bases is centered around the concept of ideals generated by finite sets of multivariate polynomials. In the present paper Groenber Basis is used to solve the system of multivariate polynomial and integer programming problems.
