Abstract
Η παρούσα εργασία παρουσιάζει έναν κριτικό σχολιασμό και μια συζήτηση της σημασίας της επικοινωνίας στην ιατρική εκπαίδευση. Μετά από τη συνοπτική παρουσίαση μελετών που αποδεικνύουν τη σημασία της επικοινωνίας στην καθημερινή ιατρική πρακτική, παρουσιάζονται οι βασικές αρχές επικοινωνίας και γίνεται μια εισαγωγή στις επικοινωνιακές δεξιότητες που απαιτούνται για την άσκηση του ιατρικού ρόλου. Τέλος, η εργασία παρουσιάζει συγκεκριμένες προτάσεις ενσωμάτωσης της επικοινωνίας στα προπτυχιακά προγράμματα σπουδών των πανεπιστημιακών τμημάτων Ιατρικής.
