Hepatic subcapsular hematoma: an exceptional complication after ERCP (Description of a clinical case and review of the literature)

Abstract
Hepatic subcapsular hematoma is an exceptional and life-threatening complication after endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). We report here a new case of subcapsular liver hematoma after ERCP successfully treated with percutaneous drainage, with a review of different cases described in the litterature.
