HERMENEUTIC COMPETENCE OF HEALTH TEACHERS/ EDUCATORS

Abstract

A health teacher is equipped with a set of competences, assisting them in their professional approach towards the tasks that lie ahead. The set of skills and competences has been the subject of discussions during the conferences on the topic of educating students on many occasions. At present, the basic equipping of future health teachers is additionally enriched with hermeneutic competence, allowing for the accurate interpretation of the educational situation, better identification of the students’ and pupils’ needs, as well as understanding of one’s own needs of professional enhancement
