Abstract

Elizabeth née Lubomirska Sieniawska (1668/1669–1729), the daughter of Zofia Opalińska and Stanisław Herakliusz Lubomirski, the wife of the great hetman of the crown and castellan cracoviensis Adam’s was one of the most powerfull, out standing women of the Wettin times. Ms. castellan managed with estates and realized own planes economics. She engaged in politics in the I Republic of Poland and Europa, she shaped also artistic life of her times. Sieniawska presented view of wife not being submitted to the man, but good mother. The scale of Elizabeth’s Sieniawska’s activities no connected with femine domain her times.
