HIERARCHIES OF PALINDROMIC SEQUENCES IN THE SYMMETRIC GROUP Sn
Journal Title: Journal of Ramanujan Society of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences - Year 2017, Vol 6, Issue 1
Abstract
A new property of the Symmetric group, Sn, arises when each element is assigned a unique place value, which enables the ordering of the elements (nu- merically). It is shown that the dierences between successive elements of this ordered, place-value assigned symmetric group Sn, give rise to a palindromic se- quence (Pk) 1kn!1. We dene the family of palindromic sequences, associated to Sn. Sieving out a given number at a time in the maximal palindromic sequence of the group, Sn, of length n! 1, results in a hierarchy of palindromic sequences, ending with a single element, which will be the central element of (Pk) 1kn!1. Consequences of the concept of place value ordering of the elements of Sn, are presented in this article.

In this paper, rst we evaluate a class of MacRobert's integral associ- ated with the multivariable I-function dened by Nambisan et al [3], secondly we evaluate a class of MacRobert's with. the generalized incomplete hy...
COMPUTABLE REPRESENTATION OF ULTRA GAMMA INTEGRAL
A certain integral is there in the literature which some authors call ultra gamma function, some others call it generalized gamma, some others call it Kratzel integral, some others call it inverse Gaussian integral, some...
TWO PHASE STRUCTURE OF THE CONDENSATION BOUNDARY LAYER ON AN ACCELERATED PLATE
In this paper, the condensation heat transfer and the structure of the dispersed, two-phase, two-component boundary layer are studied under forced convection condition on a flat plate moving with constant velocity.

In this paper, making use of Bailey transform and certain known sum- mation formulas, we have established certain interesting transformation formulas of basic hypergeometric series.
CERTAIN NEW MODULAR EQUATIONS OF MIXED DEGREE IN THE THEORY OF SIGNATURE 3
In this paper, we establish certain new modular equations of mixed degree in the theory of signature 3, which are analogous to the Ramanujan-Russell type modular equation and the Ramanujan-Schlafli type mixed modular equ...
