Higgs Sector with Spontaneous CP Violation in S(3) Standard Model
Journal Title: Journal of Nuclear Physics, Material Sciences, Radiation and Applications - Year 2016, Vol 4, Issue 1
Abstract
Conditions for spontaneous Charge-Parity (CP) violation in the scalar potential sector of general S(3) Higgs-doublet model (3HDM) are analyzed. An analysis of the Higgs sector of the minimal S(3)-invariant extension of the Standard Model including CP violation arising from the spontaneous breaking of the electroweak symmetry is presented. This extended Higgs sector with three SU(2) doublets Higgs fields with complex vev’s provides an interesting scenario to analyze the Higgs masses spectrum, trilinear self-couplings and CP violation. We present how the spontaneous electroweak symmetry breaking, coming from three S(3) Higgs fields, gives an interesting scenario with nine physical Higgs and three Goldstone bosons, when spontaneous CP violation arises from the Higgs field S(3) singlet Hs.

Study of H2/N2Mixture Plasma Treatment on the AISI 1045
In the present work, we analyzed the effect of the plasma treatment of 80% H2/20% N2 mixture plasma over the AISI 1045 steel. To produce the plasma, an AC discharge of 0.1 A at 350 V was produced at a total pressure of 3...

In this paper, Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) analysis of eight fungi species, namely, Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus terreus, Trichoderma longibrachiatum, Trichoderma fasciculatum, Penicillin Janthinellum,...
Dark Matter and Experiments for its Identification
After Fritz Zwicky, through various theoretical models, several dark matter events have been proposed. but none of them is yet discovered. Recent experiment shows that only around 5% of the total matters present in the w...
Thermal Effect on TL Response of Single Doped LiF+NaF:RE Polycrystalline Phosphors
In this work, the sintering and annealing effects on the thermoluminescent (TL) behavior of undoped and rare earth (RE)-doped LiF+NaF powder samples (RE = Ce3+, Eu3+, Lu3+ or Tl+, at 0.5 mol%) was analyzed by evaluating...
