HIGHER EDUCATION OF AUSTRIA: DEVELOPMENT TRENDS AND COMMERCIALIZATION OF RESEARCH RESULTS

Abstract
The article presents the results of the economic and statistical analysis of the Austrian higher education system development. The authors identify the key trends in the development of analyzed country higher education. A special emphasis is put on the analysis of the financial aspects of the Austrian higher education functioning. The authors come to the conclusion about necessity of higher education institutions’ funding sources diversification. The priority is given to the intensification of commercialization of universities research results.
