Abstract
Development of the concept of Euler characteristic, from the Euclidean geometry to the algebraic geometry is considered. A singular toric variety is studied within the framework of the algebraic geometry. Procedure of the blowing up of its singularities in terms of cones is represented by Hilbert scheme. Special cases of the blowing up of orbifold singularities of C3/Zn using Nakamura’s algorithm are performed. Hilbert schemes and their physical interpretation in terms of Euler characteristic are presented.

Fe Kα Lines of MCG-6-30-15: Emission from Thin-torus Particles around a Kerr Black Hole
We investigate the characteristics of monochromatic particles about a Kerr (rotating) black hole (BH) and their contributions to the observed soft X-ray flux of Fe Kα emission lines. We develop a thin-torus model to form...
“Uncertainty Relations” in the Group-theoretic Scheme of Quantum Mechanics
Non-commutativity and uncertainty relation in quantum mechanics are considered here from the group-theoretic point of view. It is shown that uncertainty relation is connected with one of unit vector of orthogonal basis o...
Finding on the Similarity between the Two Empirical Formulas: Temperature Dependence of Volumetric Expansion of Gas and Temperature Dependence of Resistivity of Conductor
This paper finds and examines the similarity between the temperature dependence of volumetric expansion of gases and the temperature dependence of resistance of conductors. In the 1780s, Jacques Charles came to know that...
Theoretical Computation of Magnetic Flux Density within the Vicinity of Rukpokwu 11 KV Distribution Power Lines
Horizontal conductors used for distribution of electrical power generate magnetic fields around the vicinity of the conductors due to the flow of current. In the absence of a well calibrated magnetometer, theoretical est...
Natural Convective Mass Transfer MHD Flow of Chemically Reactive Micropolar Fluid Past a Vertical Porous Plate
Magnetic field effects on a free convective mass transfer flow of chemically reactive micropolar fluid over a vertical porous plate are investigated in this work. Suitable similarity transformations are used to derive a...
